The company BOCO produces the machine for pyrolytic cleaning of screws and tools with two different barrels, one of them for clening screws, the other one for cleaning voluminius rotatingdies. The barrel is in horizontal position which allows fast insertion of the screw. The barrel is then stood upright thanks to mechanisms and the process can be started automatically. The temperature of about 400 °C up to 500 °C must be set beforehand according to the material which remains on the machines, the time for burning is 3-10 hours. The barrel is of the diametre 150 mm and of length 2,5 m. During the start, there must be enough water in the tank where the gass is absorbed from the pyrolytic cleaning so it doesn’t pullute the environment with gasses.
The barrel for pyrolysis is equipped with electric heating belts that are covered with thermal insulation covers which the company BOCO produces tailored and it prevents heat radiation into the environment. That makes the entire process automatic and economical. It is environmentally friendly and tools don’t lose their hardness.
The second barrel of the diametre 1000 mm is designed for inserting voluminius parts that will be burnt for pyrolytic cleaning of tools. The barrel is shorter by app. 1500 mm.
